Not technology for technology's sake
By day I work with compliance in the technology department at the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Directorate – one of the largest tech departments in Norwegian public sector. I'm currently pursuing an Executive Master of Management at BI Norwegian Business School, specialising in AI leadership and organising in complex organisations. My background is a mix of technology, management and crisis handling.
I've used AI tools daily for several years, both at work and for fun. It's the fun that has taught me the most. In the evenings and weekends I'm building Fjeldstad Consulting. I started this because I saw that many businesses and people in general struggle to get started with AI. There's a lot of hype and very little concrete help. I want to be that concrete help.
And yes – I'm the type who would rather say 'this isn't for you' than sell you something you don't need. That's not good business in the short term, but that's how I want to run this.
